Wildwood Kin receive Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award

Wildwood Kin to be honoured at UK Americana Awards

This year’s Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award will go to Devon trio Wildwood Kin.

Featuring sisters Beth and Emillie Key and their cousin Meghann Loney, Wildwood Kin had quite a year in 2016: their debut single ‘Warrior Daughter’ spent several weeks on the Radio 2 playlist; they played numerous festivals including Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival; they featured on Seth Lakeman’s Americana Chart-topping, album Ballads of the Broken Few, as well as supporting him on his album tour; and 2017 has begun.

“We were totally bowled over when we heard about the award; What a huge surprise and privilege. Massive thanks to Bob Harris for the support and belief in what we do – it really means the world to us and we are so excited to be involved and honoured in this way.”
