Optimising your YouTube Presence

In this seminar, we’ll be discussing best practices for your YouTube channel. This will include customising your channel layout, thumbnail design, using endcards, linking to 3rd party sites, live-streaming, re-marketing to your YouTube viewers and more

Ben Bowdler :

Ben Bowdler has been working in the music industry since 2005. After graduating from university with a first in Music Technology – Audio systems, he went on to do a 9 month internship with the London Symphony Orchestra’s award winning Discovery Department as their Digital Projects Assistant. 

Ben moved on to work for Uploadermusic, a digital distribution company which grew out of Cooking Vinyl’s new media department. Uploadermusic was later bought by IODA, where Ben became the UK Production Manager and was also involved in service and client management.

After 4 ½ years working at Uploadermusic/IODA, Ben left in 2010 to pursue a new role as Online Marketing Manager at Proper Music Distribution. Quickly progressing to a role within Proper Records’ Label Services department, Ben now looks after marketing, online content and design across Proper’s in-house labels and label services clients, and also manages the websites and socials for Proper Music Group.
